Species: Common Gray Wolf/Unknown. Her bloodline split off from the normal Free People (Wolves) long ago.
Home Planet: Unknown but raised primarily in the Amaroq System
Master: Unofficially, Okari Moonfield. Trained under several Force Sensitives during her childhood/teens.
Rank: Never became a true Jedi in the eyes of the Order. Identifies mainly as a Dark Jedi, but makes a living as a mercenary with a moral code.
Specialization: She's really good at killing things.
Physical Traits: Shadow is around the height of 5' 8" and is just a bit underweight for a woman of her height and a body type that would probably be considered a bit bulkier if she'd take care of herself. As it stands, while she's thin, it's a sinewy and wiry sort of thin, and she's capable of amazing strength. Her features are sharp and well defined. Her coat is very fluffy with long feathery and silky flares of fur on her elbows, the back of her ears, and her feet. Really, her pelt would be the pride of any wolf if she took better care of herself. Her left eye is amber while her right eye is blue. This makes her already unabashed glare even more piercing and offsetting to those who receive it. Fur is cool grays, blacks, and white.

Perhaps her most noticeable traits are the slender "claws" that leap from her fingers at her command. She has no true fingernails or claws as the natural weapons are retractable. Her hindpaws do have regular claws, but they are oversized and unusually sharp for those of a canine. Origin of the retractable claws and some of her odder traits is unknown. All that is known is that she is not pure wolf and those of her bloodline have not been for several generations. However, the claws are made of cortosis and seem to form at her very will and as a part of her gifts from the Force. That being said, she must dilute the metal in her blood with a special serum so that it does not begin to solidify and kill her. The metal gauntlets on her forearms allow for the vials to be inserted into them, protected, and for the drug to be administered in gradual doses as needed. She can survive for a while without the drug, but once her own circulatory and immune systems cannot handle controlling the nature of the metal on their own, she becomes sluggish.

Personality Traits: Shadow's life has been a series of unfortunate events and a tale of woe in general. Because of this, she's often apathetic towards the plights of others who she sees no real reason to care about. Her line of work as an assassin demands that she be able to see living beings as objects rather than sentients, and she can be very good at "dehumanizing" others and removing herself from "human" emotions. However, she has a moral code that she does not deviate from in that she will not kill children or those who she feels do not deserve it. Before she takes on a job, she researches those who wish to "hire" her and the targets they want her to take out. Her own ethics mean more to her than any amount of money.

While the number of people who she truly cares for is small, she is capable of fierce loyalty and has a protective and honorable nature towards them. She often credits Okari's determination to train her for what little redeeming traits she has, and she will defend her unofficial Master physically and verbally without question.

While not freely given, Shadow's trust can be earned. Once one has it, they can depend on a virtually completely devoted ally.

Shadow, while basically strong-willed and damn near pig-headed, is addicted to spice and has a "slight" addiction to deathsticks. She is not a frequent "user" of the terrible drugs, she does use them enough to add to the ruination that her hard existence already brings to her life in general.

Shadow Thorne is what many would refer to as an anti-hero. She has the capacity to be a truly good person in that she will typically do the "right thing" when faced with a choice to do so. Redemption is not impossible for her but a complete 180 is probably out of the question. Basically she's a very flawed person and a bit of a diamond in the rough.

Force Powers/Various Talents: Obviously, her mixed blood offers her some strange abilities such as the retractable claws. While some would call Shadow nearly a Gray Jedi, she more than likely leans more towards Dark than Light. No one knows all of her abilities or talents, not even Okari, but she is adept with the shoto (two short bladed lightsabers) and nearly all forms of lightsaber combat that utilize her favorite weapons well. Like Okari's other student, Wielder, Shadow is well trained in hand to hand combat and the thought-to-be lost art of Teras Kasi. The assassin can make a weapon out of nearly anything and prides herself on being able to kill resourcefully.



Shadow Thorne was my fursona before Wielder. I've actually had four what could be called "fursonas", one of which was Okari for a time. She was too perfect to be me, too wise, and really didn't have that much in common with me other than a few good traits that I like to believe I have. Shadow was too jaded. Really, Wielder is a mixture of all of them, including the one I don't believe I've shared with most of you (Semco). Anywho, Shadow is an old old character that I needed to bring back, and I figured she'd lend herself well to the Star Wars universe.
