Random Ramblings, Current Projects, Ect.

Soooo, after eight years of owning a dog who is my sole responsibility, I have finally discovered (I am ashamed to say) through trial and error that it's simply easier to just get in the damn bathtub with him while I give him a bath.  Seriously.  Would have thought that to be a nasty mess with a 75 pound GSD mix in a tub with a fully clothed not-so-little (okay, fat) woman in tub also, attempting to give him a much needed bath.  Oh no.  Worked out much better.  He even just laid down in the damn water as though I was giving him a massage.  Ugh.  Anyway, from now own, dog bathing day will be a family ordeal.  Lesson learned.

Artwise, gah, it's been a while for my DA page at least.  Most of the stuff I have been uploading lately is stuff that I feel is decent enough to crosspost from my FA account.  Soooooo, yeah, I don't work that fast, guys...it's just I'm catching up.  Some of the stuff is brand spankin' new, but not that much of it.  That being said, I'll go ahead and name off some stuff you can expect to see:

-Commission work and trades from my current queue over on FA (need to get those done pronto)

-Star Wars Fanart:  Yeah, if you're gonna have a hissyfit over me fangirling over pretty, blue-eyed, blonde-haired Jedi boiz and their galaxy far, far away, you might wanna go ahead and unwatch me.  Or you could just roll your eyes and hope I'll draw something else sooner or later.

-Red Shield's Journey:  An original story chronicling the life and times of a young satyr (a King shepherd/goat hybrid) after she moves to a small town in North Carolina to hopefully revitalize some family land.  Having always been a loner before and never really having fit in anywhere, she begins to make some odd friends in the local area.  But perhaps the strangest comes in the form of a mysterious young man she meets while wandering in her own woods.  How does he know so much about her even though they never met before and why does she feel like she's known him forever?

-On The Red Path: The Tales of Okari Tsukino:  One of my oldest characters, Okari actually gets drawn pretty much the least, but her story, oddly enough, is the most developed.  Her story will follow her life in the Edo period of Japan from her days as an up and coming maiko, to losing her family in the most tragic way, and trading a fan for her father's sword.  A tale of revenge and hopefully eventual redemption.

-Chronicles of the Wind Wielder:  Yeah, yeah, I know, been working on Wielder's feral storyline for years, but it'll continue.  Some of the characters have changed, things will be getting a revamp, but it'll still deal with the journey of a strange woof.

-ZOMG art of my favorite OTPs!!!:  I ship things.  I ship odd things.  I will ruin the following for you:  Balto, Alpha and Omega, Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, Ginga Densetsu Weed, Kingdom Hearts, and a few others.  Stay tuned for the ruination of your childhood.

-Lord of the Rings/Hobbit Crap:  Yeaaaaaaah, what can I say?  One of my besties is a Tolkien fan, and I liked the books.  I can like Star Wars and The Rings, okay?  Okay.  Plus, Thorin...I will Mary Sue mah ass with him somehow.

-I turn everything into furries.  Get ready for me to ruin the following for you:  NCIS, Firefly, Marvel Characters, and old ass movies like True Grit and The Dirty Dozen.  Yes, I know, I'm strange.
